So, I don't have a really eloquent preamble to this, so I'll just say it.

I've decided to discontinue The Daily Intel.

There were parts of it that were incredibly enjoyable. And, the feedback I got from some of you was beyond humbling. But, in the end, I just have to be honest that it's too much work for a person with a real job, a family, etc. It just stopped being fun.

I have to say, though, that I am amazed by the loyalty of the readers. After nearly 100 editions, the open rate was 75%. That's... amazing. Not a single edition got under 70%. But, there are plenty of great daily newsletters if you liked mine. (Psst! Court Theory!)

If you were kind enough to set up a recurring donation, please be sure to cancel. I cannot say how honored I am that any of you would feel inclined to pay for this content. And,

But! The entry list site is not going anywhere! I feel like it's a resource that tennis fans can really use and I'm proud of it. So, please share the link and tell your other tennis nerd friends about it. It'll always be free. (But! Donations ARE accepted. Servers cost money! 😄)

This is a whole lot. So, I'll stop. But, I just wanted to say thanks. I love tennis. It means so much to me. And I appreciate everyone who carved out a few minutes each day to listen to me ramble about it.
