Final-ly, It's Happened to Me!

🎾 Adelaide (WTA 500) — FINAL

Mirra Andreeva (3) vs. Victoria Mboko (8) The teen titan match of the moment. 18yo Andreeva comes into 2026 looking like she's recaptured the fire that took her to back-to-back WTA 1000 titles last year.

19yo Mboko's 2025 reads like fiction: Playing ITF events in the Caribbean 12 months ago. Then 22 straight match wins, a WTA 1000 title at home in Canada, WTA Newcomer of the Year, and wins over Coco Gauff, Madison Keys, and Elena Rybakina.

My heart and my mind pick Mboko for the win.

🎾 Adelaide (ATP 250) — FINAL

Tomas Machac (8) vs. Ugo Humbert With an ATP 500 title to defend in just about a month, Machac would do well to bank these 250 points while he has a chance. The Czech has been in great form all week, taking out #2 seed Tommy Paul yesterday.

Humbert has five ATP titles and knows how to close. His lefty serve creates angles most righties , and his 91.7% hold rate in 2026 suggests he's serving at career-best levels

Gonna go with Machac, but it'll be scrappy.

🎾 Auckland (ATP 250) — FINAL

Jakub Mensik (3) vs. Sebastian Baez (7) Mensik won Doha in 2024 then had an even bigger breakthrough in 2025 with a Masters 1000 title in Miami. But, until this week, the Czech has been a little...checked out.

Baez is, with not an ounce of doubt, the hottest player on the men's tour right now, notching wins over Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton on his way to a 7-0 start in 2026. His easy peasy win over Marcos Giron yesterday (a few hours after finishing off Shelton) was a statement.

I'm... gonna go with Sebastian Baez? To win a hardcourt final over Jakub Mensik? Strange days indeed.

🎾 Hobart (WTA 250) — FINAL

Iva Jovic (3) vs. Elisabetta Cocciaretto (Q) Along with Andreeva and Mboko, Jovic is the other teen titan of the current WTA Tour. Already inside the top 30 with a WTA 500 title on her mantle, the American has rarely looked wobbly this week.

Cocciaretto, once ranked as high as #29 and with a win over Aryna Sabalenka at Indian Wells in 2023, had to get into Hobart through qualifying. But, those 3 qualifying wins (plus 4 more in the main draw) could make her an in-form issue for Jovic.

Still... I'm going with Jovic for career title #2.
