🚨 The Drive for 25 is Alive! Novak Djokovic, 38yo and supposedly past his prime, saved 16 of 18 break points to outlast 2-time defending champion Jannik Sinner, 3-6, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, in 4 hours 9 minutes. He's now the oldest man in the Open era to reach an AO final. Can he win slam title #25?

🔥Carlos's Crazy Comeback! Carlos Alcaraz survived a bout of cramps to outlast Alexander Zverev, 6-4, 7-6⁵, 6-7³, 6-7⁴, 7-5, in 5 hours 27 minutes, the longest semifinal in AO history. His five-set record improves to a slightly absurd 15-1.

💔 Womp Womp! Alexander Zverev served for the match at 5-4 in the 5th set against Carlos Alacaraz. And, once again, couldn't close. It's a familiar story: 10 slam semifinals, zero titles, and the highest win rate of any active player yet to lift a major trophy. What's the opposite of clutch?

🏆 Back-to-Back Aussie Attack! Olivia Gadecki and John Peers save match point to take out Kristina Mladenovic and Manuel Guinard, 4-6, 6-3, [10-8], and became the first pair to defend the AO mixed title since 1988-89. Bill Gates was in the stands. (He and Peers go way back to Baylor.)

🎾 Big Match-Up in Manila Camila Osorio needed just 46 minutes to demolish Solana Sierra, 6-0, 6-1, and reach the inaugural WTA 125 Philippine Women's Open final. Donna Vekic awaits in what feels like a final at a much larger tournament.

⚔️ Are You Ready to Rumble?!!? Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina meet in the women's final having steamrolled every opponent. It's the first time both finalists arrived without dropping a set at any slam since the 2008 Wimbledon final. Sabalenka leads their rivalry 8-6, but Rybakina won their last meeting at the WTA Finals.
